Livorno, historical Port Mediceo complex, comprising the Port terminal: aedicules marking the entrance to the Port of Livorno. A metal canopy supported by four cast iron columns protected the customs officers from bad weather. A gate closed the entrance half an hour after sunset, the same happened with the waterways which were closed with beams and chains
Livorno: today you can only admire the turret located on the right of "Andana degli Anelli" seen from the sea (current location of the premises intended to provide assistance to Livorno customs office users), the other turret was destroyed in second world war bombing.
